Position & Title:                               (ASL) Signing Aide - High Needs Paraprofessional

Hours & Days:                      Monday – Thursday / 30 hours / full benefits

Salary:                                       $13.44 - $15.45 depending on college hours and

                                                                or experience

Job Description:              Facilitates communication between a student with a hearing impairment and hearing teachers and peers in a classroom setting.  Supports students with hearing impairments access their educational curriculum.

Qualifications:                  High School Diploma OR GED; Demonstrated proficiency in English and American Sign Language; One year of experience as a classroom aide or equivalent (preferred); Arizona driver's license; 60 College hours OR AA Degree OR Paraprofessional test; AZ fingerprint clearance card
